Thurso Golf Club - 1.

 

 Founded 1893.  A 9-hole course on Dunnet Links at Dunnet Head, nine miles from the town.  Putting Greens are large and beautifully level. (GGA).  The club also possesses a 9 hole course nearer the town at Ormlie, but those who can get to Dunnet will be amply rewarded by a better course and magnificent scenery.  It is a seaside course with the finest turf.  The Ormlie course is an inland course, with a fine situation(WWG).

An 8-hole course, flat with very sporting holes.  Length 2,400 yards(16 holes), Par 62, SSS 64.(SGC).  Membership 55.  Last mentioned 1922.                                

Present club was formed in 1964
