Forgotten Greens of Scotland

Taagan.

Taagan Golf Club. First mention 1927. Only the name of the club, with no other information, appears in the Golfers Handbook. The map, shown below, was surveyed in 1927, hence this is the earliest mention. The course was laid out by the owner of Kinlochewe Hotel, Mr Hickman, who also had a market garden adjoining the course, all for the benefit of guests at the hotel. (Stewart MacKenzie, BGCS)
