SANDA ISLAND

Sanda Island Golf Course. “ Jimmy” Lyon was a slight, thin-faced Glasgow man with a wispy moustache, who, in his younger days, looked on the wine when it was red. Attempting a cure, his family sent him to live on Sanda. Being a keen golfer, he constructed a few holes and greens on the Island. The course was popular with visitors from the mainland.
