Kilchoan Hotel.

Kilchoan Golf Club. Opened c.1967. . A 6-hole course, on the steadings behind the hotel. Turf was taken from the shore which did not please the locals, The owner, Ron Taylor, sold the hotel in 1969 but retained the course, 

Harry Ward is a respected golf historian known for his detailed research into the origins and development of the game, particularly in Scotland. Through careful study and a passion for the sport’s heritage, he helps preserve golf’s rich history for future generations.
